    In my old band, we used to play this awesome club in the neighborhood. It is a pretty small place in comparison to other clubs, but the energy there kicks all the other club's asses. All the musicians hang out there and most of our friends. The band I just joined has a suprise, unadvertised gig there tonight!! Just found that out about 3 hours ago. This club is the greatest. Home at last!!!

  7. yea i am i shock, does that mean that kilroy has left the building also, and has any one seen a link between the above and a member refers to himself as a main player in the bible.

    Well, there is "god" on the DB side of the board, (really is his TB name). He just registered today. The boys over there are chewing "god" up pretty mercilessly. Profile says he has a 1647 Strad and he's only 19. Something doesn't smell right and it ain't us.

    How did this thread get picked up anyway? The original post was back on 2/15.

    Religious theme alert.

    It got messy every other time. Why dont we leave it here and all stay friends.

  12. i was refering to god, rickbass hit the nail on the head. guess i wasn't sure, if it could be jwc or not.
    seems like maybe every new arse that come to talkbass will make me think it is jwc trying to get back on.

    OK, clue us in. What happened with JWC?
    I know from reading his posts that he liked to stir the sh*t and try to be confrontational.
    Did he really step over the line or something?

    Well, near as I can figure, JWC liked to talk smack, but then got the smack talked outta him. It was a constand Off Topic flame war with him on Politics, racial issues, ect. and he liked to stir things up. But when people fought fire with fire, JWC buckled. Then left. That's my take on it. I think JWC just got tired of being the bad guy. A guy can only be flamed so many times. So he left.

    hmmm...
    That's weird that it would make him leave, I always thought he wanted to get people upset and get them involved in a stupid argument. I assumed that if he made someone mad enough to cuss him out, that would make him happy. Strange

    Here's what I know, (and I don't take any gleeful pride in it);

    He started another one of his stunts in a thread regarding his last post ever on TB, which would be at something like 5pm on Sat. before last. Anybody who could see through him, (which certainly didn't take a doctorate in psychology), could see it was like some kid threatening their parents, "I'm running away. You'll be sorry. I'm really going. I'm never coming back. I'm really walking out the door...." So, some people posted and he repeatedly posted with this inane countdown, "9, 8, 7...".

    As you might guess, he started flaming some of the posters in his usual gutter fashion. When I saw he had violated his own deadline and kept flaming, I finally keyed in a post, (without profanity), that I figured would draw him out in the open and let him dig his own grave. Basically, it was telling others to look for a new TB member, (JWC re-registering), with a different identity than "JWC" and you could spot him by seeing posts that said, in effect, "Columbine...pretty cool, huh?" (based on the thread he started about punching some guy out and saying, "Pretty cool, huh?").

    As I hoped, he went deeper off the deep end he already went off a long time ago and started a thread about "Rickbass" and demanding an apology. So, some people posted in the thread and didn't say what he wanted to hear. You can guess how he treated them. I didn't post because I'd seen him go postal all too often but I used the "Report this post to a moderator" link and merely said, "Buckle up, here we go again."

    Gard kindly let me know later JWC was past tense.

    Allowing that kind of immaturity and lack of respect for other TB'ers to run rampant here keeps some fine people who play bass from joining.
