I adore these little basses, but I have my eye on a new uke, and this guy definitely gets the least attention. Kala U-Bass fretless - killer fretless bass built to baritone ukulele size. This is one of the early models (2010) before they added pre-amps. It plugs in right from the end pin, and they are SO good amplified. I am not exaggerating when I say that it sounds more like an upright THAN MY UPRIGHT. Sounds great with the Aquila ThunderGut strings on it now. Diminutive size (29in total) makes it perfect to take on trips, but I've also used it on stage as an all-purpose super-warm fretless. It has some marks, but nothing prohibitive or problematic in terms of play or structure. The only real ding is an impression on the back of neck at the 9th "fret". There is a discolored area which cannot be felt on the lower bout, a small mark on the tip of the headstock, and a tiny impression near the 1st "fret" which I only found scanning the instrument for this thread. I lost the magnetic back plate, and replaced it with a transparent plastic one. I also added a strap button on the back which makes it way more comfortable to play standing. Comes with its original sturdy branded gig bag and the simple black strap that's on it. $250 shipped ConUS (PayPal).
This plus the Fishman pre currently in the amps section is an absolute killer setup, all for less than ubasses usually go for around here. GLWTS!
