Just trying to get some info on this setup I picked up the other day... any help is appreciated!
Kustom made some iconic amps in the 60s-70s and the brand name has been bought and sold many times since then by companies with varying aesthetic connection to the originals but none of the original designs. Kasino was the name of their downmarket line, mostly used by country performers who didn't want to appear too flashy. What you probably have there is a "starter pack" generic P-bass and amp made in Asia in the 90s/00s by one of the companies that bought the name.
They made a guitar and bass around 1968, and they were great axes. Eastwood has re-issued tributes.
Yes, I owned one during my Kustom Krazy phase, but they were far from "iconic" or even good sellers and completely unrelated to what the poster has, so I figured why add confusion. They also made keyboards, drums, microphones and other branded garbage.
