Keith Horne

Discussion in 'Bassists [BG]' started by Jason Hale, Aug 16, 2002.

  1. Does anyone know what Keith Horne's rig and bass arsenal consist of? I'd be happy to know just what his main bass of choice is. HE IS THE TONE GOD.

Back in his bar band days around here(circa late '80s-mid '90s)-
    Horne played a Ken Smith 4(eventually went to a 6) through a SWR Goliath(4 x10) with a SM-400(I think).
Last time I saw him(about 3-4 years ago), he was still playing a 6-string Smith).

    Have you heard of Secrets?
...that was the Horne band I'm most familiar with; other members, at various times, included Carter Beauford, Billy Drummond, Steve Wilson, Dane Bryant, Tim Reynolds, John D'earth, etc.
Horne's tune, "Bassball", was always a show stopper.
