P bass harness. This was made by Kelling Sound, a guy on eBay that does quality work. This one has a 10 position rotary tone pot. Position 1 is wide open tone, position 10 is completely off, but the middle positions are just varying degrees of mid cut... i like it, a lot, but i am building more vintage type basses now.

    30 shipped.

Does this harness improve the sound of the bass over the stock harness?

This harness does improve the sound in a number of situations..
    1. If your pots and caps suck. If you have an import bass with cheap pots this will definitely clear up the sound and get the full potential from your pickups.

    2. If you want to control the Mids on your p bass, this improves not your sound, but your control of the sound. A passive tone control is kinda like having only one knob on your stereo and all it controls is treble. You can turn it up or turn it down... that’s it. This adds, by use of capacitors, a way to cut mids.... so position 1 is essentially if you ran the tone knob wide open, position 10 is tone knob all the way down, and the nine positions in the middle cut mids to varying degrees.
