Ken Lawrence website??

Here it is. But it's a bit of a dissapointment.

 

I talked to Ken about it today actually. He says that work is progressing on it but it probably won't be ready for launch untill Spring '06

 

Anyone know who's doing it?

 

Update: Talked to Ken again a couple days ago. Latest word is that work is still being done but it'll probably be Fall '06 before it's ready to launch.

Dunno who's making it...

 

Can't wait to see it! Ken showed me some crazy pictures at the NAMM show.

Actually, yes... there was a brase with an insane inlay that went through the body and into neck. The bass was like one giant inlay... hahaha.

 

Err, does anybody know has there been any progress on the KL website? It has been "coming soon" for about a year now. KL must be a busy man but the guy making his website is either busier or just the worst slob on the face of the earth...

reviving an old thread due to my enthusiasm with KL basses. I really hope to run into him at NAMM. I need to look into a 6'er.

Last I checked (couple weeks ago), he said the website was still the same black hole as before but that he was hoping to get to it very soon and have something to show not long after that.
