What would be a good price on a used Rainey 6 string in like new cond? Someone is trying to sell me one for $1500. (flamed maple)

That sounds cheap! I dont know what Warriors regularly go for but I imagine it being a lot more than that.

I do remember seeing a Warrior ad with Chuck Rainey as the endorser. Hence the confusion?

Oh sure - he plays Warriors now. I just figured the thread title should be pretty clear. . . ;)

BTW that's still a good price for a nice KS CRV6, I believe. Certainly not a bad one.

Not familiar with the Chuck Rainey model, but in general that's a good price for nearly any KS except maybe a Burner.

BTW Geshel, is your avatar a von Hagen?

Is that his name? I don't remember. If you mean that guy that plasticizes cadavers, yeah. :)

I owned a KS Chucky Rainey Five for a short time a few years back. It was a great bass. I paid around $1500 new at the time.

$1500 for a six in good condition? Sounds good to me.
