He's asking for our opinion though!

I like the second one! More rich looking.

  5. the second one is very jewel-looking.i love it!

i like the end of the body better.

my vote goes for the second!

  6. I've always wanted a Ken Smith BSR5 EG with a quilted mapel top.

The two you are choosing between are both great though, you can't go wrong!

Figured Walnut is nice, but nothing is as warm as a quilt... Go with the maple.

They both look awesome... I prefer walnut, but I am not going to be the one playing it!

I have a BSR5GN in AAA Walnut. To "me" thats a more classic look. The Quilted maple always seemed to be a really "fancy" look.

Ask him for buckeye burl- see how he responds ;)

  16. The walnut looks classy to me but the quilted maple looks too plain. The contrast of the gold hardware with the walnut is very nice.

I've always been partial to the walnut on Ken Smith basses for some reason.
