I'm hardly an expert, but you gotta have seven notes in a major scale.
Little 'a' implies A minor.
So, A B C D E F G A.
Yeah, he outlined an A major triad with the 1st three notes. I was just bein' facetious.
I don't usually do this, I'm really *not* a ''do a search" nazi. But this is just rediculous. It takes about 5 seconds to google 'music keys' and end up at a page like this:

That's right, an entire page on wikipedia on the key of A.
See, with even less effort than it took to post this thread, you could have already had your answer and been on your merry way. Instead of waiting around for a few people to devine what it is exactly you are asking and posting conflicting and confusing answers in a vein attempt to be helpful.
