Keyboard for dummies?

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Nomadic Herder, Feb 17, 2002.

  1. My dad for some odd reason just bought a keyboard. He can't even play the radio. Are there any resources on the net or books for complete musical voids? He'll probably give it up in a few weeks like he did with rollerblades last year, and then it will be mine. But for now, to keep him amused what can ya refer me to? Thanks.
  2. Well for the purchase, try www.eopinions.com
    Or www.amazon.com for book ratings.
That is if you want to get a book for him, or for you when he gets sick of the keyboard. Other idea would be to start playing a lot more ELP, Deep Purple or Rick Wakeman on your stereo to keep him inspired.
I heard Piano for Dummies is a fairly good book.

I also heard that Piano for Simpleton D-Bags is Ok but more demeaning. :D
