Hello, This is a bass designed by me and Luthier Sanzio Kian from Brazilian Kian Guitars. The top is a original Brazilian Rosewood (from old furniture. Nowadays Is not allowed to extract B. Rosewood , it's illegal ). Comments wellcome.
that is probably the only headless bass i would consider playing. is it a mahogany body with a slice of maple between it and the BR top?
what are the spec on this thing? nut width, scale length, neck material. i'm quite curious. also what kinda price would these go for?
Thanks for the reply. It is a 34 scale bass, ebony fingerboard. 44mm nut width. Neck is made of 5 laminated maple wiht Brazian Wood "Roxinho" . Neck Through. About U$ 2200, five months to finish. But you can choose all the woods. I prefer legal Br rain forest exotic woods.
Many thanks ! And yes, it is very well made. Super stable and straight neck, super low action with no buzz !
ah man, i love me some low action. if i did go for one i'd want an inline headstock though. the lines and the pickup combo and control layout are pretty much perfect.
Exscept for the oversized surrounds around the pups its looks very nice to me. Why didnt you have the pups mounted in normal fashion without surrounds?
