    I heard from the man himself that it was patched together form MANY takes. He doubted he could have played it down like that.

    Great Bassline....I Love the Root,Five,Octave parts of the choruses gets that right hand sharp!!!

    Kid Charlemagne and Green Earrings have always been favorites (along with Peg - another Rainy cut - but my all time favorite Steely Dan bassline is Glamour Profession (Anthony Jackson) from "Gaucho".
