Man that was one of the first bass solos I saw when i was starting out. My mom had that dvd and watched it all the time. Takes me back...

  3. Yep, that's Ric Fierabracci. He's an amazing player who's been one of favorites for a long time. The dude's amazing. I think he's endorsed by Laurus basses from Italy.

  4. Umm, seemed kind of 'wanky' to me. Guy's got chops, but his ideas are, well....:meh:

  5. This is back in the 80's when most stuff was pretty wanky. He's got some good stuff out now. I've got his latest CD called "Hemispheres" and it's really good.

Didn't Gary Husband play drums for Yanni? A gig's a gig...

and, as Bill Bruford intimated after his participation in the Yes Union tour, one pride-shattering high profile sappy pop gig can pay for an awful lot of progressive, challenging, and poorly attended/utterly uncommercial performances.

I liked his playing a lot when he wasn't soloing... :)

Looks like EMG pickups on it. Nice sound.
