Kinal MM/J vs Lakland MM/J

    These two are close, almost too close :eyebrow: .

    - Think the Kinal sounds like the Lakland? (The front pup on the Kinal appears to be closer to the neck)

    - The Lakland is a "parts" bass. The Kinal is "handmade".

    - All other specs are about the same.

    - Your thoughts? Pros and Cons?

    i just took a peek at Kinal website, and if that MM/J Kinal sounds anything close to a 55-94, get the Kinal. The Kinal five is $800-1,000 cheaper than the Lakland. The Kinal is also very sweet looking.

    I think both are great.
    But, I know Mike personally, and he really puts his heart and soul into his work. I like his Jazz-style body shape a little better, though.
    I'd go Kinal!
