So Trey Gunn has quit Crimson. I can accept this. So is this the end of KC, or will they find a way to move on? What do you guys think?

Here's what I would like to see: Michael Manring on bass(?!), and/or perhaps some other bass oriented guy filling out the low end (T Lev, or Mick Karn, perhaps?). Pat on drums, Fripp on guitar (of course), Reeves Gabrels on guitar, and David Bowie on vocals! Yeah! That would be cool.

    Huh?

If Fripp had left, this might be a valid question. Look at the history of the band for your answer.

  3. I would want Adam Nitti to play with them, pyrotechnics master!

Maybe they'll go for funk and hire Victor Wooten.

Now THAT'S something I'd like to see.

  5. Sorry, guys, but I think this is the end--Fripp's 56 and vocally dissatisfied with the life of a touring rock band.

Peter; I thought Fripp was about 60 or so, not 56?

    BTW, welcome back to TB.

  13. Thanks for the welcome.

If memory serves, Fripp was born in 1946 or 1947, which would make him either 56 or 57.
