Don't tell Robert.
Sounds way better with the mix up
This made me cry. I can play along to this song, and I can play guitar to it fine, but I can't make it sound like a song... :cries: I should just hang up my musicians cap.
You sir, are a liar...
Good job Ben!
Do you mean play along with it, or actually play the parts? I learned some of the guitar parts, and gave up completely. It's a complete finger twister in certain spots (well, Fripp's parts anyway). Tony's part isn't too hard, but in my tuning (CGDA) it was a little rough; not to mention I wanted to put my own spin on it. If you can play Fripp's parts, my hat goes off to you sir.
By the way, this is my first recording with my fretless with the Rio Grande pickups in it. These sound much better in a mix than the old EMGs - time for me to order another set for the other bass.
Cool clip. Might need to go get the original to compare.
I love it, I love that tone, absolutely killer.
That's the Rio Grande Pitbulls. They totally rule over the EMGs. They seem to like the ZVex Machine and Wooly Mammoth that kicks in with the drums about halfway through. I was never able to get those pedals sounding good until I got these pickups. It makes me want to get a bunch of pedals again.
Good work Strangeman, sounds great.
The only King Crimson I like, as of now.
Man, I wish I could "ruin" songs like you!
That's awesome! I'm not much of a KC fan, but that kicked ass!
You should be. You're missing out!
Well, I gotta admit, "Red" is pretty amazing. You should cover that one!
the beginning is cool.
Not my type of music,but you got some talent my friend.
Tone = Sex.
