Sorry if this was already posted, I searched Kingda Ka and Roller Coaster and nothing came up.

New at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ. The Golden Kingdom. The cornerstone of this new section is Kingda Ka, shattering all existing world records for speed and height at
128 mph (in 3.5 seconds) and 456 feet. It has a hydraulic engine.

    Going to be AMAZING.

    Couple Pics.

The pictures don't look 465 feet but it's hard to tell I guess. That's high.

For comparison, that's roughly 459 feet taller than me.

The pictures don't have to look 465 feet high cause the coaster is only 456 feet high ;)

    haha yeah they did.

that was just a better pic of going up high.

  5. That's a very expensive way to induce vomitting. I'd prefer to drink a six pack, spin myself around 12 times, and chase the beer with Ipicac. Cheaper. Same result.

    i rode it today....

    my experience...

ok you hear the horn then 6 seconds go by and you start going then before you know it... you're going 128 mph... it was awesome cause everything was all blurry cause you were going so fast... then all of the sudden you slow down to like nothing and you can see all around you and you're 456 feet in the air coming over the arch.... and you're like oh crap... then you're coming straight down doing a 270 degree spin then another hill at the bottom...

    so awesome...

    very much worth skipping school

I get scared of even the though of goin on the friggin' tilt-a-whirl. This thing....no thanks. I'm fully capable of crapping my pants on my own.

  13. Hmm it looks exactly like that ride at Cedar Point, the Top Thrill Dragster. Only it's 30 feet taller and goes 8 mph faster. Still looks insane. I'd like to try it.
