Hello , i, am new member at the talkbassforum and i have a question . I recently bought a Ken Lawrence 6 string cocobolo bass used. When i look along the neck , the b-string side has a little bit more relief then the high c-string. I tryed to adjust with the dual trussrods but this doesn't work. Is it possible this neck was made this way ?
Not that it's a problem for playability.
(Already put this post in basguitars , but nobody could answer).

    Thanks

Why don't you give Ken a call?

The truss rod on the bass side should be able to take the relief out, I would think.

At any rate, the bigger strings seem to need more clearance to play cleanly, so your situation could be worse, as long as the bass sets up with comfortable action.
