    I was thinking maybe Chorda with some other E? I thought Oliv at first, but that's not right. this is all a bit of a shot in the dark though. I've only read of the silk colors from Pirastro's catalog, not seen the silks in person.

    Those strings look to me as though they are orange with a black twist - whatever that is... :(

    oh , it could be Orange with blue twist! I've seen that on a bass at the music academy here. I don't know what it is, but some kind of pirastro string, right? Does anyone know what the model is?

    I think those are permanents with maybe a Olive E?
    Yellow with blue twists are permanents
    Pirastro has a string catalog that lists the colors

    Permanents are a real Canary yellow - sorry not to be more help. Where's Francois when you need him? ;)

    Actually, I think we're onto something with the Permanents. I think where the video isn't superb, the blue twisty makes the yellow look darker than it actually is. Just a hypothesis.

    The E looks solid green to me. Perhaps a chromcor? Perhaps an entirely different make?
