    Dear all,

I heard a piece but don't know the name of it. Could any dear friends know that?

The piece starts with arco and ends with pizz and whistling.

Also what are those concertos about: Nikolaos Skalkottas's Concerto (1942), Eduard Tubin's Concerto (1948), Lars-Erik Larsson's Concertino (1957), Charles Wuorinen's Concert for Double Bass Alone (1961), Gunther Schuller's Concerto (1962), and Hans Werner Henze's Concerto (1966). Luciano Berio's Psy (1989)....

Thank you very much for helping!

Bass Trip by Peteris Vasks is the piece you're looking for.

I've heard or have music for all of the other pieces except for the Wuorinen. They're all great music and worth looking into. You can find recordings as well.

    Hi Jack,
Thank you very much for helping the question! I found some of the concertos and Bass trip on Youtube.
And I like your free Haydn symphonies music. Very cool! I never heard those before!
    Thank you again!
