Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

  2. Well, I don't know anything about Warmoth parts, but I never miss a chance to sing the praises of guitar electronics. In my experience they provide quality parts, are reasonably priced and offer great service.

I've emailed them a few questions... but here's my concern:

they say "(matches CKM8) Set screw mounting"

    then when I check CKM8:

"CKM8 - Metal Flat Top Knob
Flat top knob with beveled edge and position indicator dot. Set screw mounting - Fits coarse or fine spline pots"

The stacked pots I have don't have splines, they're solid shaft. So will these work for me? Wouldn't the set screws not hold to the solid shaft?

The Bart preamp that they say these knobs will fit:

The stacked pot doesn't look anything like the pot I have. That Bart pot, has the split in the middle of the shaft and also has splines.

Those stacked knobs will work with Bart concentric pots. I use them all the time. Both Warmoth and GE probably get them from Allparts, and I don't know where Allparts gets them.
