Alright, I'm switching amps. The amp I use now has 4 knobs, 1 Low, 1 Mid Low, 1 Mid High, and 1 High. The amp I'm switching to has 8 sliders for the graphic equalizer. So if I want to carry over my settings, it could be looked at like so:

-the first 2 sliders would represent the Low knob, and the next 2 sliders represent the Mid Low knob, etc???

  2. Although it would simplify the concept of transferring your tone settings to the new amp...

...in reality, your sound will probably be quite a bit different from what you were hearing on your other amp. Tone controls have a center frequency in which the audio spectrum is 'cut' or 'boosted'. I'd bet your old amp and new amp have variations in center frequencies for the tone controls. If you could look at the owner's manual for each amp, you may be able to find the actual center frequencies for the tone controls.... this way, you could make an attempt to duplicate tone settings from the 4-knob rig to your 8-slider rig.

    Hope this helps.
