KNOW YOUR BASS PLAYER ON FILM: "I was inventing what I wanted to find out!" Mo Foster was a student of physics and mathematics at the University of Sussex in the md-1960s. On a quest to learn more about the instrument, he created the first-ever year-long "bass guitar" course at Goldsmiths College, University of London in 1975. Mo also authored a ten-part fretless bass series for Bassist magazine and he continues to give occasional master-classes at music colleges in London, Brighton, Leeds, Liverpool, Guildford, and Manchester. Tom Semioli: Interviewer / Writer. Mark Preston: Producer. Derek Hanlon: Cinematographer.
