Hello there fine people of Talkbass,

I have a 2001 Fender American Standard Jazz Bass. And i want to know the full specs of my bass. Can anyone help me in this quest? Because i cant figure out if the body is ash or alder. I want to know the pickups spacing specs, and other things.

I love this fender. The only upgrade was the black pickguard and a Sadowsky outboard preamp (ehehhe.. the best upgrade ever for a jazz bass), but i am ashamed for not knowing the full specs of my own bass. I tried to google this info, but i cant found a clear answer

    Can you help me?

  2. Looks like a alder body. That's all I got.

Email Fender support the serial number and they'll send you all of the specs (down to the smallest detail). They've been very helpful to me in this way twice before.

    Formerly Staten Island
It looks like an alder 3 tone sunburst body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck. Stock Fender American single coil pickups.
