Have the opportunity to purchase a Korean made L2000 here for sale locally for a pretty good price. Ive been play Mexican and Squier Precision basses FOR EVER. I alway hop them up with better bridges, pickups, pots, etc. And I love a wide neck. Are there any pros and cons to these bases? Are the electronics/pickups on par with Seymour Duncan pickups? Etc.
    Thanks for any input!
  2. AFAIK the electronics and pickups are identical to the US made G&L's.

i think the tuners and neck bolting system are different as well as the fret leveling procedure, not absolutely sure though, mine are american

Pickups are the same. Pots and preamp are same spec, but foreign-made.

As mppd said, different tuners than the USA counterparts. It would be the first area to upgrade, IMO, but they're serviceable.
