Hi, Does anyone have a manual for a Korg Toneworks DTR-1 rackmount tuner that they could copy and send me? I know it exists, but it’s been very hard to find. I’d cover expenses with cash or trade (parts, DVD video, etc.). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, but I'm looking for the DTR-1 manual. It is not on Korg's website or anywhere else on the web that I can find. I was hoping to find an owner that still had their manual and would be willing to make a copy for me. :help:

Copy and paste the spanish one into a spanish english translator, unless it's a picture :\.

EDIT: I must not be good at reading today, I meant Italian/English translator.

Do you really need a manual for the DTR-1? :meh:

The DTR-1000 is hardly complicated and pretty self-explanatory; I doubt its predecessor could be more complicated.

Actually the DTR-1 is the predecessor to the DTR-2000. It has more functions and I'd like to know what they are, how to use them, and if they differ from the newer model.

Ah... I just looked up the DTR-1 on the Korg website - you're right about it being different:

    · Rack Mount Auto Chromatic Tuner
    · 7-Octave Tuning Range
    · Large Easy-to-Read LED Meter
    · Built-In Microphone
    · Strobe Tuning Mode
    · 2 Selectable Inputs
    · Cent/Hz Tuning Mode
    · Cable Check Function
    · Auto Reference Calibration
    · 3-Octave Reference Tone (C2 - B4)

Other than the strobe and cable check features :)eek:), you should be able to use the DTR-2000 manual as a rough guide to the rest of the DTR-1 (at least, I'm hoping so).

I'm guessing the strobe mode can be switched to at the push of a button. If it's anything like other tuners with strobe modes, it'll work something like this: unlike a conventional cent/Hz mode which relies on a center position and your distance from it, strobe mode is about the "speed" of the traveling LEDs. The slower they go, the closer you are to tune. When it stops, you've nailed it. The direction it travels indicates whether you're sharp or flat.

And the cable check... I don't know. :meh:

I'm bumping this old thread to see if anyone has a manual for the DTR-1 that they could email me or mail me. I would be happy to compensate in some way.

I just picked up one of these yesterday. I'm looking, too.
