Korg Pandora Mini low output volume?

Hi,

I've been trying to shoot some videos to put on Youtube, but there seems to be some sort of problem. I use a Pandora Mini, my bass in the input, cable from output to mic input on my laptop (Sony Vaio) and headphones into the Pandora. I don't think there's anything I'm doing wrong there. However, when I've made a recording and want to listen to it, it's very quiet, almost inaudible, and I can't figure out why. I've tried both in Audacity and with the integrated webcam and it's the same thing in both cases. Please help!

Also, if I want to do covers, how would I go about doing this? I assume another cable from the headphones out on the laptop into the aux in on the Pandora? Or could I simply play the song through my laptop speakers? How could I fix any possible latency/sync issues?
