Just came across this listening to old chestnuts, and got a kick out of the bass. Good closeup of the instrument at 1:11. Anyone ID this funny looking thing?

  5. Wow, Ernie Douglas REALLY seems to be enjoying playing guitar on that song! And Sharon Osbourne on drums... I really wasn't expecting to see a young Sharon Osbourne wailin' on the skins like that!

Burns was bought out by Baldwin Piano Company of America so they could get into the guitar market. Early Baldwins had "Baldwin" logos glued over the Burns logos.

Cool vids. That guy on the second video only used his index finger to pluck! He must get real tired after a few songs! Those Burns bass guitars are really cool. Anybody played one?

Those are some crazy but interesting looking basses. they look like a cross between an aria bass and one of bootsy collins' basses.
