FREE SHIPPING TO ANYWHERE USA ONLY Hi TB'ers. Anyone watching this sale, I am motivated to sell. I am bidding on another Ibanez bass. So I'll sell this bass for $350, free shipping, free Walker and Williams leather guitar strap, and black gig bag (needs a couple zip pulls). Get 'em while they're hot! Great Jazz style bass for sale here. Beautiful violin sunburst finish. The bass sounds very nice and the action is great. The overall feel of the bass is like a 25 year old Fender Jazz. Has that kind of vibe. There is a small ding on the right side of the body, right where your forearm would sit while you play. I did sand it down a bit, and now I hardly notice it. A couple brush strokes will make it barely noticeable. The bass was well taken care of. Feels much like an old well worn bass.Very vintage feel to it. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} Please see the last pic showing the dent. The ding is about 1 1/2 inches long and surface only. A little more sanding and black touch up and it would be nearly invisible. Nice bass! I posted this in the Southpaw Spotted forum at LeftyBassist. GLWTS! LeftyBassist.com • View topic - KSD Proto J -- $450 TalkBass
Thank you @bullitproof . Sadly it has to go to make room for a new Ibanez. I've realized I'm an Ibanez guy....
FYI anyone interested, I've now listed this bass on eBay, so I will close the sale item if it sells elsewhere. Thanks... keep looking!
Update: I went through the expense of sending this bass out of town to a guitar tech and had them go through the bass. He said all the internal electronics are clean and logically laid out. Very nice setup under the hood. Neck is very straight and I spent some time tweaking the neck. The action is very low now and it plays like butter. I know I keep saying that but I can't describe how nice the neck feels. Kind of fast with the 1 1/2" Jazz neck. The tone is outstanding and the bass/treble controls are very musical. I like the blend knob. It adds a lot of versatility. I'm taking a loss on this one but I want to complete my Ibanez collection. Otherwise I'd keep the bass. It's sad that some people here have some preconceived notions on the KSD because I think it's really a sleeper brand. Plays well, sounds excellent, It's just I'm an Ibanez guy and like the uniformity across basses. I'm making someone a good deal on this!
