Kustom Groove bass 1200 - needs repair - 200 $hipped

Discussion in 'For Sale: Amps, Preamps, and Cabinets' started by L.A. Moore, Aug 15, 2007.

  1. The Good:

This is the amplifier that started the Groove Bass revolution.
Twelve hundred watts of pure power that energize any performance,
anywhere, anytime. The Groove 1200HD is focused on delivering robust,
defined tone at any volume level. And this baby can get loud if needed!
Rather than add bells and whistles that detract from the purity of the
fundamental tone, Kustom chose instead to give bass players the power
and features to sculpt their signature sound. In addition to the 9-Band
Active EQ, youÂ’ll find Bass, Mid and High controls, each with a Pull-Shift
function that effectively changes the EQ response curves for those frequencies.
Using these multiple EQ sources in tandem lets players create their idealized
sound, matching an instrument to an amp as never before! You'll also find
several conveniences that can make life much easier, such as an Active/Passive
input selector, an XLR line-out with pre- or post-EQ switch, an effects loop
and a footswitch that activates a Solo Boost function or mutes the amp for tuning.

    The Bad:
I bought this amp off the bay and for a while it worked perfectly. It made my
peavey 412 txf's really come to life. A short time ago it begain popping and
hissing sometimes producing no sound at all. It never looses power and always
recieves singnal. I took it in to get repaird but the repair guy said
some one had "opened" the amp and possibly "modded" it. There for he would not repair nor tell me what
the problem was. I live in a small area with only one repair guy. So rather than send it away
I just bought a new one. Any one who knows how to fix this is getting it cheap..
I only ask that buyer inform me of what went wrong.

I'm asking $200 Shipped. It will come in a GB 1300 box safe and secure. Please ask questions!!

This amp shows signs of use but as some life left in it

  2. 150 $hipped!

I'll try and record a sound file in a day or two. Need to get a mic from the practice space.
