Kustom KXB 500 in stock yet?

    This is an off shoot of Low Class' "...Best amp ..." thread, which I have been closely following. These were supposedly back ordered, but I've seen two distributors (hifisound and smartdj) recently listing them on eBay (for $399).

    I emailed proaudioland, who had the lowest price and was taking preorders to be filled December 20. They now say these new units are expected by the end of the year. Also, the SAVE20 coupon code is no longer valid - so, no cheaper than the other dealers.

    Snooze; you loose, I guess. Anyone have up-to-the minute info?

    A day before Yesterday, I did received the shipment tracking no. from Pro Audio Land. According to the FedEx, as of today, it has "created shipment label" status(whatever it means...) so I believe that they are here...

    I received a tracking # from PAL the other day also. It's in route to me as I write. Should be here next week.

    I'm glad you guys are getting your amps soon. PALs website needs to be updated. Maybe they are out of stock AGAIN, but it still shows December 20 for arrival date. And 20% off is back, but doesn't work when I put that item in my cart.

    I have to try one of these. Everyone is buzzing about them. I use Warwick, Carvin, and Mills Custom amps right now, but I'd love to try something different.

    I ordered one at Hi Fi Sound on 12/22, they initially said, yes we have one in stock", then they said oh no the manufacturer will ship directly, but not until end of February, beginning of march, I blew a gasket and said cancel my order immediately and give me a refund, they hemmed and hawed about store credit and then agreed to give it, after-all their site said in stock and ready to ship. Last night I got a call and they said they found one. I said forget it, they guaranteed they will ship on Monday and because they screwed up took another $20 off of $358. Have not seen the $20 on PayPal and if I do not get tracking on Monday, I am done. Keep you all posted.

    Just a heads up, I just got brand new one that I am about to put on the market. Its one day old and is all that it has been raved about. I had my Eden WT550B in the shop and thought it was shot, so i got hold of one of these. Turns out the tech fixed it and it cost me around $175, so I can not keep both. I just got this today so its not even 24 hours old. I will sell it for what I paid, all the paperwork, warranties and original box. Played it for less than an hour. PM if you are interested going on the market later this morning.
