L2000 Tribbie MIK?

  1. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to G&L basses, so I'm hoping that maybe some G&L players on the forum can help me out. I'm eyeballing this G&L Tribute L-2000 and was wondering if it's a MIK bass. It was purchased new in 2008 (don't know what year it was build). It still has the tribute logo on the bridge and a white G&L logo on the headstock. I know on the newer MII versions it says G&L on the bridge and have a gold logo on the headstock. Can anyone confirm if it's a MIK and maybe tell me a little bit more in general? Are the MIK's better than the MII's? Also, I heard that early MIK tribute models had cheaper pots installed. Are there any other substantial differences between MIK's and the MII's I should know about?
