La Bella Olinto Club

Has anybody tried these strings and have any feedback to offer? My Olinto came with LaBella Low Tension flats and they were nice, but I prefer the higher tension and darker tone of the Deep Talkins so swapped them out.

I have them on my Thunderbird and they're amazing. More balanced that the 760s, certainly brighter and incredibly stable once they've settled.

Niice - Great playing and good Mashup of tunes! Thanks for sharing. Makes me want to put a order in for an Olinto P. :)

Nice rig too. I love the Khan DI. It's such a great no fuss (Plug-n-play) DI for live application, and it sounds really good. I've been gigging with the KHAN over the Noble lately.

Yep. That is Ryan Treisa, who played with Ike Lamb here in Oklahoma back in the late 90s and into the 2000s. Great player. He hadn't been out in a long time and I let him sit in on an instrument he wasn't very familiar with.

The Khan DI is my favorite my favorite DI box, that I have never once used as an actual DI box, but only used as a kind of tube preamp. Gives a nice warmth and spread to every note.

Beautiful piece

La Bella Olinto P4 2019 Black Limba | Reverb

I need to apply to the club with the Olinto P4 that I'm keeping, but I wanted to share this Easter Egg I found on the black limba. In the neck pocket it says "Que Pasa - Mas Hino". Damn near wanted to cancel the deal, but happy for the new owner.

That was yours? It's definitely easy to get attached to a bass like that even when you aren't using it regularly any more. The note from Mas is a very cool touch. That burst is unreal.

Hey guys!! Mitch from Olinto here! Decided it was time to get involved here on TB to answer any questions and help steer people on specs for their builds. I'm also going to be listing any "shop basses" we occasionally make in the classifieds so you guys will get a crack before they go up on reverb and get more expensive to cover all the fees. Love seeing everybody's basses on here!!

Is that finish semi-transparent?

Kinda? I can see a bit of wood grain, especially on the back. I can also see both the gold and candy apple red that make up the orange. I talked for a while with Eric and James both about oranges, and waffled about what I wanted , but James really knocked it out of the park with an orange that has texture and vibrance AND doesn't look like a traffic cone.
