*LAG collection 5 string bass*

Discussion in '[OLD FORUM] Bass Guitars, Amps, and Accessories: F' started by soulbrother, May 31, 2004.

  1. For sale: rare handmade LAG collection 5 string bass from France. Features: 2 piece body: bodywood seems to be some kind of walnut, maple neck (bolt-on) and dark(rosewood?) fingerboard. Bartolini J pick-ups and LAG preamp (vol/vol/treble cut/mid sweep), 34" scale, TIGHT B string, string spacing is 17.5 mm, serial number is 03422. The bass is 6 years old and in very good condition. It has been set up with a fresh set of DR High Beams 0.45 - 1.25. I am the second owner and I have barely played it. This beauty has to go because the string spacing is too tight for me. I am also saving for a Sadowsky Metro! I am located in the Netherlands, Europe and will ship worldwide. I have no case/gigbag for it but I will pack VERY good. I am a 100% honest guy and can provide net references. Will also consider trading this bass for a nice jazz bass (Fender Jazzbass with S1 switching, '75 reissue, Lakland Joe Osborn/Darryl Jones etc) or Modulus Vintage Jazz, Quantum 5, or Stingray 5... My firm price: 800 euro (about $960). Please email for more questions, offers etc. Thanks! Best regards, Werner.
