    My LPB Fender American Vintage Series 70's Jazz with the aged period guard looks awesome, no?

    That was/is a Brice Douglas five, alder and rosewood. I still have her sister, in ash/maple. Great basses, woefully under rated.

    A better pic. The only thing I did to that bass was change the bridge to that quick release one. She wore flats. Great basd.

    I recommended the mint guard, but I have to admit - the 'loid looks fantastic. She's a beaut!
