    Price:
    $1800
    Strings:
    4
    Location:
    Indiana
It was wrong of me to buy this bass on impulse just because I love Lakin-era Laklands, and I have been shown the error of my ways.

    All-original Bartolini pickups and preamp
    Weighs 8.7 lbs
    Hipshot D-Tuner
    Birdseye maple neck (gorgeous!)
Plays and Sounds Like a Dan Lakin Era Lakland Should (Fantastic and Versatile)
Fresh set-up job and a new set of DR Sunbeams

    $1800 shipped CONUS

Would much prefer an outright sale (I paid cash for this one), but I can consider trades.

--Good 5-string, plus or minus cash (G&L M2500 or L2500, Yamaha BBNE2, Lull jazz, Sadowsky Metro with single coils)
    --Nice fretless 4-string
--Rick Turner Renaissance fretted six string (no chance of finding one of these, I know)
    --nice German frog bass bow

Played it a ton last night. The action is quite low and it just sounds like a dream!
