Lakland 44-51.. single or split?

Hey all,

So I'm basically set on ordering a Lakland US 44-51, but I'm torn between the Neo-punch or the vintage single.. Being in Australia, don't have a chance to try either out and sound clips are a bit limited.

I'm more familiar with split coils, but not so much with P-singles, and (on paper) i reckon i'd really like the extra clarity.. they still retain that chest pummeling P "Thump" right?

(Apologies if i'm rehashing any previous threads, but i failed to find anything)

 

Bump
