Don't temp me. I'm hoping in a few weeks I can get some $$$ put on the side.

I haven't seen you in a while, Herm. Where have ya been? Or am I just blind? :D

  4. I've been real busy, but drop in once in a while, mostly to say something stupid or pointless. Thanks for missin me (you were missin me - right?)

I'm tempting you cause I've been a Lakland dealer for a while, just a cheap plug, but I can get ya one for a good price.

Hey Nino, I have a D55-63. I'm kinda disappointed that mchildree is selling his unless it's to get a Sadowsky.

It is a very awesome bass and very much in the same ballpark as my Sadowsky. I like the -63 significantly better than the -64.

I'm down in Austin until Saturday and then off to Virginia on Sunday but I will try and send you a pic of my -63. And tell you all about the -63.

By the way I'm really kinda surprised that you seem to be moving away from the Spector camp toward the traditional style/sounding basses. I suppose next you'll start playing blues and old school gigs...just teasing.

Hi Herm! It's good to see you posting. Oh and Herm definately has the Best prices on new Lakland's.

Hey, thanks for the plug, Nino! I guess this might get moved to "Basses For Sale", now that I've injected my mouth.

Jerry, I really don't want to sell this bass but I have 2 and only need one. I'd lose too much money if I sold my 55-94, and if I have to own only one, the 55-94 would be a bit more versatile.

Don't get me wrong. I love my Spector's!!!! It's just nice to have a fer different basses as opposed to alot of the same basses. Not that there is anything wrong w/that either.

I'd like to add in the future:
    Pedulla Rapture J2 5 string
    Dean Rhapsodhy 8 string
    Some kind of Modulus
    Sadowsky Vintage 5 string
    <u>Spector USA Bolt on 5 string</u>
    Dean Edge 5Q
    <u>G&L L-2500</u>
    G&L JB-2
    <u>Lakland 55-63</u>

but my wallet & bank account says otherwise. :)
The underlined basses are what I'd really like to get.

I want it too! THey had one similar at Elderly instrumets in Lansing, Michigan, and it was the best Lakland I have ever played by far... Hands down! If I sell the Modulus after all, and the F Bass deal falls through, that bass moves to the top of my hit list! Look out Nino... :)
