I'm assuming this is the appropriate forum, if not, mods please move to the respectable place.
I was inquiring if this has ever been done. I'm constantly tinkering with a couple franken-basses of mine and theres a Lakland Glaub fretless neck for sale( sans hardware) right now in the parts forum. I wouldn't necessarily be doing the work myself, i have a good friend and fellow player who does excellent work and repairs as well as setup on my instruments. So...who has done it and does it work? Do u need to route the hell out of the pocket? Do the neck-bolt screws line up? It would essentially be going on a black squier p-bass body with a j at the bridge, Duncan pickups, Gotoh bridge and tort guard, a real players bass and my favorite right now. The 90s Japanese jazzbass neck i have on it is kind of on its last legs:ninja: ( just to give yall an idea). Thanks in advance!
