    Hey all.

I have a Lakland USA Bob Glaub Precision, and I have a new pickup that I went to install today. Well after taking the old one out, I soon realized the cloth wires on the new pickup will never fit through the insanely tiny hole they have routed to the cavity. I have tried putting dry soap on the leads, using sandwich ties to try to pull them through. Nada. I can only get one of them through the hole.

Anyone have any clever ideas on how to get these cloth wire leads through? Do I need to take this to someone to bore a larger hole? I could do it I suppose, but I'd have to remove the ground wire in there and I am afraid of screwing it up.

WHY!!!!! I love Lakland but damn this is a pain in the *ss.

Nevermind y'all. I soldered some test leads to the cloth wires and pulled them through that way. Hoorah!

I was going to say to enlarge the holes maybe some old bass string & go back & forth sawing action like pulling up as you do it then side to side to maybe enlarge it
