    Friendly folks,

I have GAS bad.......I found a Lakland Skyline DJ jazz and I'm really wanting this bass.
I do have a question tho.....what is the difference between the DJ model and the 44-60? Can a 44-60 be had with the jazz pup configuration or is the 44-60 a P bass? Sorry if this sounds rather amateurish but I'm trying to feed my GAS and learn all I can about Lakland.

I'm no Lakland expert, but I believe the 44-60 is what became of the discontinued Joe Osborn series. It's a J bass...

The 44-60 / Joe Osborn is modeled on a 1960 Jazz bass and the DJ is based on an early '70s Jazz, but with a slightly smaller body.
