SOLD Lakland Skyline 55-01 bass/Nordstrand Big Splits/Audere Classic preamp

Selling my black with rosewood Lakland Skyline 5501 5 string bass. It's been upgraded with Nordstrand Big Splits pickups, and an Audere Classic 3 band preamp. If you've never played a Lakland, these is the best 5 string bass necks out there..

Here's how it all breaks down.

$500 - Lakland Skyline 55-01 ($850 new)
$200 - Nordstrand Big Splits ($260 new)
$100 - Audere Classic VBTMB ($140 new)

In my highly un-scientific bathroom scale test, it's around 10 pounds. Definitely feels lighter - my 55-60 is 11.4 lbs, and this one feels much much lighter. I'll try to get a better measurement...

 

Bumpity bump bump. Wouldn't it be nice to have a NBD by the end of the week? These necks are incredible, and I'm kind of disappointed that I can't put these pickups in my new bass... Of course, the router may come out if someone wants to opt for the stock electronics and save a bit of $$
