Yes, Bass Club Chicago had them done for them. The first run was, I believe 30 to 50. Then they had more done. The first run had painted head stocks, 2nd run didn't.
In Fender-talk, how would you describe the neck? C shape? More of a U shape? I ask because I've never played one. This is one beauty of a bass!
I am not 100% sure. I would guess C shaped. It has a flatter feel. Thin front to back. Hope this helps.
Thanks!! It is one of those, if it doesn't sell, I would be happy to keep it. The herd is just a little big, I can find something else to sell. The custom build I want to do is going to be a Jazz, that is the only reason. It is up for sale.
Whose making the jazz for you? This is one of the times when a bass actually way outperforms it's price point. This bass feels and plays better than anything you could get new or used for this price imo.
I would highly recommend a New York bass works reference series bass. I just had one built and the thing is amazing. No more buying and selling basses every week for me! I think he is doing 4 strings now. Nothing against carvin it actually looks like you get a lot for your money. I would wait it out for a used one though and spend half the dough I have a lot to say about everything today!
