I'm in the market for my first fretless bass. I don't have much experience with fretless, but I'd like to learn. Thing is, I'd like to buy something I'd "want" to play. As I have a fretted 55-02 which I absolutely love, I'm wondering if a fretless 55-01 or -02 would be a good option. I would like to know if any of you have any experience with these. thanks much.

I have recently purchased a 55-02 Deluxe fretless also my first attempt at fretless. Lakland basses sell them selves. I’ve been very satisfied with my purchase.
