Looks great, not to hijack the thread, but other than the Lakland are there any other good looking/playing hollowbodies?

    Damn. :bawl:

Sure, there's the Epiphone Jack Casidy hollowbody, which is around $769 and is supposedly very good.

    So what?

Id rather call up Gard at Bass Central. They'll beat a Musicians Friend price and are a hell of a lot cooler to deal with.

    Peace

I have a quick question about hollowbody basses. I know hollowbody guitars have a tendency to feedback at high volumes...what about basses?

It would have the same effect i know the Jack Casady bass has a solid piece of wood to reinforce the back of the bass and they claim that would prevent feedback.

Anyone think $1200 is too much for this bass?

  12. For the Skyline series, yes. I should have said that i played a USA hollowbody and that was incredible.

First of all, I know a dealer that sells these at just over 1K.
Second of all, if it's not worth it to you, don't buy it.

I think it could be worth it if it meets my expectations when I play it.

    Peace

If that's what that solid piece of wood is supposed to do, then it fails miserably. My JC feeds back like crazy if I let it.

Then again, I consider that to be a good thing...
