Lakland Skyline Series

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Groovecenter, May 29, 2003.

  1. I did my search through the forum, but was unable to come up with this info. Do the current Skyline 55-02's have graphite reinforcement? Thats really my only question as I like the tone and feel of the instrument alread. Any other comments on the 55-02 are welcome.

I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. Sorry i'm not certain, but I don't think so.

  4. The 5502 necks are flatsawn, and non-reinforced, while the USA necks are quarter-sawn and graphite-reinforced.

However, I own a 5502, and it has VERY comfy low action with no buzzing. Of course, it's new, so maybe ten years down the road it will have twisted or something. . . .
