    Hey there, I currently have an opportunity to buy another high grade p bass for flatwound usage. I currently have a Lakland Bob Glaub which has roundwounds on it that I love. this next bass I want to string with flats for a more vintage vibe. has anyone ever ab'd them? or could give insight on one versus the other?

    I am currently wrestling with the exact topic of this thread. I currently have a Moollon P IV classic and a Lakland 44-64 and I love them both to death. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to keep both, but I am having the hardest time deciding which to sell. It's been 3 months of going back and forth. I need help!

    I've played both but not side by side. For me, the Moollons are closer to a vintage Fender vibe.

    I kept my Moollon, but am missing the Lakland too!!
