    Price:
    2600
    Strings:
    5
    Location:
    Maryland
2013 Lakland USA 55-94 Deluxe Cherry burst with Bartolini "Classic Bass" series pickup system.

Original owner, excellent condition includes new condition Lakland tweed OHSC.
One small ding on the back of the headstock shown in photo.

    Swamp Ash body w/quilted top
35" scale Quarter-swan hard rock maple neck
    Light weight - 8 lbs!

Upgraded Bartolini preamp & "Classic Bass" series pickup system.
    -Bartolini 5.2AP Preamp
-Bartolini DL52CBJD3 Quad-coil MM bridge pickup
-Bartolini 59CBJD-LN1 dual coil J neck pickup

    Controls:
    1. Volume (Push/Pull A/P)
    2. Blend
    3. Treble
    4. Mid (Push/Pull Freq. Selection)
    5. Bass
    6. 3 pole toggle sw (MM-front coil/parallel/rear coil)
The “Classic Bass” series bass pickups are passive designs featuring an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more “air” and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics.

Love me a cherryburst...love me an understated quilt finish...love me a maple board...not familiar with these particular electronics, but likely sounds killer...I already have a minimum of one NUB in the pipeline, and possibly as many as three, so this one I'll have to regrettably pass on for now...good luck!:cool::hyper:

Quintessential Lakland. The model that put them on the map. Nothing beats the Bart setup, and that quilt top is the cherry on the cake. ( no pun intended....well....maybe). Too nice a bass to be a museum piece. Somebody step up yo.

I love mine and would love to have a backup, but I am thinning the herd at the moment. Can vouch for the awesomeness of these basses, though. (the one in the photo is not the one for sale)

So I guess maybe I should have the original Hanson LH3 pre & pups reinstalled to get some movement on this bass? :wideyed:

Yeah, 6 months ago I would’ve snatched this up... Things are too tight right now. Such abeauty, and really I’d be happy with either p/up set
