    I think 2007 was when they made the switch to Hanson.

    you can STILL get that great tone with a hanson vintage pickup which is an option of the 44-64 and 55-64 (what the BG is called now)...

    I THINK if you order new the switch is a no price option but check before you buy :)

    I have a vintage in my 55-64 and LOVE it!
