I recently committed to converting from short scales to 34's.
Thus, as some of you know, I sold some stuff recently.

The last item in my short scale world is - my prized Landing Custom Bass.

I don't have pics yet, but I surely understand that a bass like this needs lots of pics. I don't have a digital camera, but I will borrow one to take some pics if there is interest.

From the Landing website, the closest I could find was this:

    http://www.landingbass.com/additional photo 3 l1.html

That's what the body looks like. Other details:

    - Body - I believe mine is ash
    - Hardware - all gold
    - Righty
    - Pickups - Passive EMG 40 HZ's

I recently thought I might have a ground problem with it, but I was being a moron - the ground problem is in the room I was practicing in! :) Every bass/amp in there makes some noise. Everywhere else, it's whisper quiet and sounds awesome. My bandmates Love the tone of this bass, and they will be disappointed to see it go.

With case, $575 + shipping. Via PayPal.

If people PM me with interest, I will then take the time to put together a picture package of it. Thanks.

That is a hell of a good price on this bass. I wish I had some cash!

I thought I'd post one Bump before moving on to eBay.

    It's an awesome bass.

    My
    Landing Custom Short Scale bass
    has been placed on eBay.

I'm not sure if I am allowed to post a link to it, so I'll refrain until I look that up.

Thanks to anyone who inquired in the past.

I'm up to 13 watchers on eBay for the bass.
That's probably the most I have had for an auction.

Thought I'd post a final time since this is the last day of the auction, in case any TBers were thinking about it.
With 18 watchers and bids happening, the bass will be gone today.

Thanks to anyone who expressed interest.

Sorry just one more, cause I left out the most important point in the last post:

I wound up lowering the price. I'll wind up only getting what I really wanted if some people bid beyond the reserve, but if it sells for close to the reserve, it's essentially Stolen from me. :)

If someone who was really looking for a high quality short scale comes across the auction,
they're going to have a good day.

The reserve is now: gulp - $441.
